• Laurie Johnson, RDH

Dental Hygienist – Retired as of Jan. 1st, 2015

My name is Laurie Johnson and I am one of Dr. Packham’s dental hygienists. I’ve been a hygienist for almost 40 years and continue to enjoy it. I work part-time at this office and part-time at the Oregon Health Authority (OHA). At the OHA, I coordinate a school-based dental sealant program that provides protective dental sealants for children in 150 schools throughout Oregon. Serving patients one-on-one, however, remains my favorite thing and I particularly love this practice. Dr. Packham is an excellent dentist.

I am married and have two grown step-children. I love skiing, reading, gardening and schoolwork. I am taking online courses again. Life-long learning is the best.

  • Stephanie Chrisman, RDH, B.S.

Dental Hygienist

Stephanie became a hygienist in 2001, after receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in central hygiene from the Oregon Institute of Technology. Prior to completing her hygiene degree she worked as a dental assistant since 1992. While being a dental assistant, Stephanie developed an understanding that the relationship with the patient is fundamental in providing the best care. Each patient is unique and has individual needs. To provide the best care you have to look at the patient as a whole person rather than just another mouth. While in school Stephanie excelled in her studies striving to understand the best clinical techniques to care for each patient. This understanding was a contributing factor in her being selected to receive the Patient Excellence Award of her graduating class of 2001. Being patient focused, led Stephanie to joining Aloha Dental Group in 2001.

Since joining Aloha Dental Group I have had the opportunity to provide care to a diverse clientele. This has been very fulfilling allowing me to expand my dental skills throughout the years. I have also met some amazing patients. I work with an exceptional group of professionals that not only support but challenge me to do my very best.
